Cornus mas (Cornelian cherry)

It is a deciduous seedling height up to 5-8 m. With compact and branched form, with square stems, oval, dark green leaves. The flowering occurs from February to April, in the branches of the previous year that have not leaves. The small flowers are golden yellow. It produces edible fruits red shiny and oval, similar to Currants that ripen in summer.
