General Description

It is a deciduous tree with height up to 30 m. The five-lobed palmate leaves are shiny green and in autumn get yellow. The flowers are in trusses hanging on the edge of sprouts. Flowering: April to May. The dry-peeling bark scales at levels as the plane tree (from this, it got its name).
